Tell Him...
I've had so much support lately from everyone in my saga with Bobby. I've come such a long way since the first night I met him two months ago. I've struggled with my feelings and have been so careful to keep them in check. I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize the newly formed friendship I have with him. My friends keep telling me to go for it- but I'm scared. I know what I want, but I also know that he's a complex man, one not easy to read. I received these lyrics last night from a dear friend- words of encouragement to a woman who's unsure of what to do. Thanks for your support.
"I'm scared
So afraid to show I care
Will he think me weak
If I tremble when I speak
Oooh - what if
There's another one he's thinking of
Maybe he's in love
I'd feel like a fool
Life can be so cruel
I don't know what to do
I've been there
With my heart out in my hand
But what you must understand
You can't let the chance
To love him pass you by
Should I
Tell him
Tell him that the sun and moon
Rise in his eyes
Reach out to him
And whisper
Tender words so soft and sweet
Hold him close to feel his heart beat
Love will be the gift you give yourself
Touch him
With the gentleness you feel inside
Your love can't be denied
The truth will set you free
You'll have what's mean to be
All in time you'll see
I love him
Of that much I can be sure
I don't think I could endure
If I let him walk away
When I have so much to say
Love is light that surely glows
In the hearts of those who know
It's a steady flame that grows
Feed the fire
With all the passion you can show
Tonight love will assume it's place
This memory time cannot erase
Blind faith will lead love where it has to go
Never let him go..."

Go for it. You are just what he needs and I think he will make you happy too
Oh, that was so beautiful!
That's where I get stuck, too. I start talking to a guy and we get along great, but then I'm afraid to take the next step because what if it doesn't work out? Or what if he doesn't feel the same way?
But would you rather take the risk or spend the rest of you life wondering what could have been?
I hope it works out for you. I'm sure it will.
:-)
Ah, Celine and Barbara. Nothing like the sisterhood for some defense.
That being said, they are right. Remember that comercial that was on a few years ago with the 2 old men who were reminicing, and one said to the other, "Remember those Swedish nurses that wanted us to go away with them for the weekend?" and they keep going on and on about it. And then the grandson, who was sitting right by them says, "What did you do Grandpa?", and he replies, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing." They lived with this regret, and not that it compairs to this, it is still regret. Regret is a killer-it kills sobriety, it kills people dead, emotionally.
If you don't love without abandon, you cannot be loved without prejudice.
Go for it-we've got your back.
